Jesper Taxbøl (CEO, Kanako) presents a VR movie recording rig and the interactive projects his company has been doing using it. It is based on a set of fisheye cameras, that allow them to interactively look around inside a scene in stereo. The method was initially developed for Skammekrogen: http://skammekrogen.dk.
He talks about the general idea behind the setup, the camera prototypes built, asset pipeline and player. This will be followed by warstories about problems encountered during its development alongside their fears and hopes for the future.
