Engaging Hearts and Minds 2016

The Engaging Hearts & Minds Seminar is a platform for practitioners to come together to share their experiences and explore ways to strengthen Malay/Muslim families through strengths-based practices and approaches. The event aims to raise awareness of the current trends and profile of Malay/Muslim families and enhance understanding of their perspectives, strengths and cultural sensitivities.

Highlights at this year’s seminar included a panel discussion with Guest-of-Honour, Minister for Communications and Information, Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Minister-in- charge of Cyber Security, Assoc Prof Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, where he shared his ideas on seeding resilience for our children. Also present at the event was Special Guest and Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Assoc Prof Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim.
