Amelia Earhart was born on July 24, 1897. She was an American aviator pioneer and author.
She was the first woman who did the transatlantic flight.
Furthermore she was the first human who crossed the pacific ocean with an one propeller-driven aircraft.
Amelia Earhart was the first woman to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross of the U.S., too.

On 24th July of 2012 there is a google doodle to honor Amelia Earhart. Its her 115th birthday.
On the worldwide google doodle you can see a one propeller-driven aircraft. On the left side of this aircraft there is Earhart with an scarl fluttering in the wind.

Its a very nice google doodle, i think.

What do you think about the google doodle for Amelia Earhart? Do you like or dislike it?
Tell me in a comment.
