I don't claim to be a great singer. I make music for myself but decided to share my music with the world. This is a song about life, the war and big media. Honest constructive criticism is appreciated.

Who Tell Us What We Hear?

give me a piece of paper and a pen
string a couple of lines together freely
in the end it comes together right
metaphorically to something real

it's tough to tell what someone's really like
looking from the outside in
cause nobody knows where you've been
a paperback could be a bestseller
I play with fire and still get burned
just like my neighbor Joe

what's spent does not
really reflect the cost
of social values and wages lost
a critical time to pursue
lives lost for the better god
not getting fatter like we should
deep lined tanks now full, some pockets too

we are for democracy
but who are we to say
that they want to be
it's up to us we think
no up to them I say
so why do we have to stay
to make it a safer place
or try to save some face
what have we become
who tells us what we hear?

a good question that you ask
the answers light a path
that were scared to take
a million minds are shaped
disinformation is safe
what have we become
who tells us what we hear?
and who owns big media?
