This is my cover version of Queens Bohemian Rhapsody. The original version is probably my personal favorite song of all time and i think no cover version can or ever will touch queens masterpiece.

In my version all instruments were played/programmed/ mixed/ mastered by myself aided by lots of late nights, coffee and beer.

All guitars were recorded using a line 6 pod hd500 and a Digidesign Eleven Rack. i programmed the piano /drums and strings in a piano roll using cubase 5 as my daw and ewql colossus and superior drummer 2.0 as my vsti's
.
It took me a ridiculous amount of tracks and time to record this song from scratch, figuring out exactly what the backing vox did on the original song and finding a way to play them on guitar with the feel of the vox was really difficult. also programing the piano note by note and getting it to sound human was a nightmare . I'm not 100% happy with it but maybe 97%

I will be uploading a mixing tutorial of how i record and mix as soon as i have some free time as I'm getting a lot of mails asking how i mix things, hopefully that will be useful to some of you. if you like the video please don't forget to subscribe to my channel.

Finally i want to give a HUGE thanks to my good friend RIG96, he did all the camera shooting, he visioned and created all the video camera angles for this vid which i edited together in adobe premier pro. without his help the video would have not been anywhere near as good. thanks rig i owe you some beer my friend.

Thanks for watching guys
