We have often been told by members of the greatest generation that our chicken tastes like the chicken they grew up tasting and they haven't had anything that tasted like this since the introduction of factory farms. Here is a video of why... our broilers are slow growth birds --- this allows them to be tender even though they are well over twice the age of factory farmed birds. Living a longer happier life on lush pasture, they develop deep flavors that are impossible for their counterparts who live only 4-6 weeks and grow up in a dirty cramped factory floor.
We are all familiar with the saying 'it tastes like chicken' to describe something that tastes like nothing. It turns out that chicken actually does taste like something and it is really good! We're excited to bring chicken back as a gourmet meat.

If you haven't tried our birds yet, check out our website at www.truecostfarm.com We deliver monthly to the metro area and offer subscriptions that include a variety of top of the line meats and eggs.
