03/04/09 It is always risky when cat owner/guardians who should know better, allow their cats to roam outdoors. Last December, poor Buck was found in Upper Darby with a serious gash on the left side of his neck. Thanks to some first-class surgery, sutures, antibiotics and a temporary drain tube (now removed), Buck is finally back to 100% with no lingering sign of injury. That's just about as far as our resources can take him. Now it's up to you to provide the nurturing home environment. Young Buck is a light golden tabby with green eyes and a very thoughtful expression. He is curious about his immediate environment and wants to know all about his cage neighbors, but mostly he wants to know why he cannot just go home with someone to live a happy indoor cat life. When you meet Buck you will agree, this fellow is definitely good as gold. People who know Buck describe him as playful and affectionate.
