Todd Tuckey shows you a super rare pinball machine made in 1993 by Alvin G and Company PISTOL POKER. Only 200 were made, and its LOADED with neat rules and terrific shots, many people have not had the opportunity to see or play this game! Mike Gottlieb ran the company for Mr. Alvin Gottlieb (hence the name) from 1991 to 1994, when sadly, the pinball machine business started its downturn. Mr. Alvin Gottlieb sadly passed away this week on Oct 14 2013, but he has certainly left his mark on the world of Pinball!
JUST heard from Daniel Hughes who worked at Alvin G in the art department---and he offered this neat information about the artwork! These are his words:
Yes we had some fun working at Alvin G. and we all thought we were going places!

I enjoyed watching these videos, almost seems like yesterday. I don't know if you were aware but I worked some of the folks who created the Pistol Poker game into the playfield art. The El Gusano (the worm) wanted poster is Wally Welch the game designer, the piano player is Kyle Johnson the music and sound designer and I am at the card table tipping my hat at the bar maid! Dan Hughes
