The Egyptian race issue was emphatically resolved long ago back in 1974 at the Cairo Symposium in an “Egyptian race debate” organised by UNESCO. When two brilliant scholars, Cheikh Anta Diop and Theophilé Obenga, successfully held the position that the ancient Egyptians were Black Africans.

This video highlights just a few of the key issues involved in the debate and brought to light by the two scholars.
