Sedum Master is a family business with three generations of agriculture expertise and experience in ecological stabilization. Managed by Greg Magda, they specialize in providing sedum solutions for a variety of green roof applications and more.

Sedum is part of the stonecrop genus and has become well-known throughout the green roof community, as it is well-suited for the harsh conditions of a rooftop.

Greg surprises us with the rich diversity and colours available. Using it in a number of different ways provide additional benefits.
Placing vegetation on rooftops minimizes the heat island effect and decreases electricity (cooling) costs. Green roofs retain up to 90% of the rainwater that falls on them, easing the flow into city sewer systems. If covered with vegetation, the roof should not rise above 25°C, reducing energy use dramatically.

Sedum promotes biodiversity by attracting butterflies, bumblebees and hummingbirds. And of course they are Very drought tolerant and very hardy. (www.sedummaster.com)
