Song name: My Name Band: START OF THE DAY CAST: 寺嶋由芙 (Yufu Terashima) Direction: WONDER RAIN RECORDS Lyrics: When I was young at heart the sky was so high, a vast world Roads continued on and on You called out my name Happy times, Sad times, Angry times, Painful times You always smile in the end You taught me that After growing up The sky seemed low The world became a little less happy But there are things in my heart I can not forget From the tears on your cheeks I will lend you my strength so don't you cry now be still Your love is hope Your smile is hope Your all is hope You're the only one

BAND PROFILE From an endless beach, ascend the stairway of light into the sky. From here, the view is so beautiful it's heartrending. Therefor, we wave the baton. With much thought on melody, START OF THE DAY is a female-fronted rock band from Japan. With a drifting feeling between genres like post-rock, shoegazer, classical; chorus and harmony weave together to make a sound that only be described as a "band orchestra". The unique music they make projects LOVE and HOPE to the heart of the listener.
BIOGRAPHY Heavily influenced by the emo rock scene of the 1990s, START OF THE DAY formed in 2002. Along with several performances and appearances overseas at large-scale concerts and festivals, they have also put out 3 full length albums, 3 EPs, 1 DVD, as well as appearing on several compilation albums. For the final show on the tour celebrating the release of their latest EP titled "The Baton", 15 people total performed including textures from brass, strings, chorus, and percussion. The music hall was flooded with emotion and spirit to become a live show for the record books. In 2013, "The Baton" continues to gain momentum and strives to create a new sound.
