Hap Snow's Whirlwinds perform "Macabre-Banshee (Special Extended Early Mix)," a track that documents the evolution of the original home demo, "Macabre," to its re-christened, later form, "Banshee." Listen to more music by Hap Snow's Whirlwinds at http://hapsnowswhirlwinds.com and Stefano Torossi at http://the6thdimension.com
Written by James K. Snow, Art Bearon, and Stefano Torossi, the unreleased instrumental features Bearon on piano, Harry Lewis on saxophone, Snow on guitar, and Torossi on drums.
Both the first part, "Macabre #2 (Banshee Early Version)," and the second part, "Banshee (Semifinal Version)," were recorded at a home studio in Weston, Massachusetts, in 1958 and 1959, respectively.
