From Before and After Science, the fifth studio album Brian Eno, his first post-Bowie Low/Heroes album, and first rock album to feature to credit him as Brian Eno, not just Eno. Produced by Eno and Rhett Davies, it was originally released by EG on Polydor Records in the UK and Island in the US, in December 1977. The album marks Eno's last foray into rock music for the 1970s and the entire 80's as a solo artist, with all his remaining albums until 1990's 'Wrong Way Up' with John Cale and his own 'Nerve Net' in 1992, showcasing Eno's ambient and instrumental music. King's Lead Hat was also released as a 7"45.
