At SES Toronto 2008, Lee Odden and Dave Snyder talk about Twitter's benefits for marketers and individual users. Lee Odden, CEO of TopRank Online Marketing, and Dave Snyder, search strategist and marketer for JRDunn, spoke today on the panel ""Twitter: Ultimate Time Waster, or Great Tool?"" Snyder pushed forward the idea that Twitter qua Twitter is not a useful or useless thing but that the way in which it's used determines its usefulness; and Odden, while dismissing its professional usefulness for users, pointed to the data mining uses it provides marketers.
