This video of the shortblock assembly was posted in 2010.  Was there ever a video of the 4-valve heads posted?  I don't think it's wise to build a 500 cubic inch small block with small block bearing sizes and then try to boost it.  You'd need a 4.68" stroke to get to 500 cubes with a 4.125" bore.  I wouldn't even feel comfortable with big block Chevy bearing sizes with that much stroke.  I hope those are 9/16" head studs because you're going to need some serious clamp load to keep the heads down. Richard Moser did a 4-valve conversion for small block Chevies back in the 1970's. Barnes did pushrod 4-valve heads for SBC's also in the '70's. Arao has 4-valve pushrod heads for small and big block Chevies. CJ Batten designed a DOHC V12 in the '90's based on BBC shortblock geometry.  He built one engine for a gas dragster. Many have tried, but nobody has been able to make a long-term business out of 4-valve conversions of 2-valve engines.

What happened to this engine? Looks like a lot of work would love to see the finished product. Was it a go or a no go?

Tom I like this whole engine concept! It certainly does sound like a new generation of hot-rodding. I do however think that you should mimic the LSX design and have a 6 bolts per cylinder setup on the top end since you are cramming all that boost in there. Just a little thought. I know you are about building horsepower and especially building it reliably.

If i ever win the lottery you will be my first phone call. You are by far the best engine builder out there right now.
