Florida's Stand Your Ground law - which allows the use of deadly force in cases of self-defense - made national headlines when it was used in the trial of George Zimmerman - acquitted in the 2012 shooting death of Miami teen Trayvon Martin. Now a Miami-Dade County circuit judge has ruled a recent amendment to the statute is unconstitutional.
