Second to the tortoises, these animals were the ones I was most eager to see. We were able to see adults as well as young individuals, like the ones on this video.
They feed on sea weed that grow attached to rocks, they are well equipped with long claws to hold on to the rocks as not the get washed away when the waves come. And of course are excellent divers, normally staying between 5 to 8 minutes underwater, but even Darwin documented some animals staying for much longer time. It was really cool to see them "spitting" or better yet "sneezing" excess salt though their noses.
