Come Work With Us! http://www.hitrecord.org/records/933821
Let's make art together regarding the theme of WORK! This is a theme we can all relate to and share our unique perspective on.
Here are some things to keep in mind regarding the theme of Work:
They say "If you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life" - is this even true? Does work have to be your job that you do for a living? If you work for yourself is it still considered work?
You can contribute your RE: WORK records to the collaboration here: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/981439
Here's how you can contribute to this collaboration:
EVERYONE: Take out your cameras & RECord your thoughts RE: Work. Better yet, tell a personal story that's unique to your own experience RE: Work. And be specific because we'd like these testimonals to offer a unique perspective.
VIDEO EDITORS: Cut together footage from the collaboration and remix it with audio & visuals from hitRECord.
WRITERS: Write a story or an essay.
ANIMATORS: Put some images into motion.
ILLUSTRATORS & DESIGNERS: Draw a picture or remix images from the site.
MUSICIANS: Make a song.
CURATORS: Compile an Album of the RE: Work contributions you feel are worth checking out.
We just announced our Mini-Tour of Live Shows over at www.hitRECord.org/tour so everything we're working on here at hitRECord has the potential to screen at one of our shows, or be included in one of our works of publishing, on a DVD, or maybe on a vinyl record we all make together.
As always, all of the profits of our money-making productions get split with the contributing artists 50/50 on hitRECord.

And, as you may or may not know, we recently announced a really cool partnership with Levi's®. They are going to support our upcoming tour, distribute some of our videos across the Internet, and they're going to help us pay our contributing artists way more than we've ever been able to before!
