Le porte-parole associé de l'Opposition officielle en matière des enjeux LGBTT, Dany Morin (Chicoutimi—Le Fjord), salue les sept jeunes ayant participé à la première Journée Arc-en-ciel sur la Colline. Cet événement non-partisan, organisé par le caucus LGBTT du NPD en partenariat avec Jer's Vision, jumèle des jeunes LGBTT avec un député ou une députée également LGBTT pour leur montrer la vie parlementaire, afin d'inspirer les leaders de demain. Les cinq membres du caucus LGBTT du NPD - Morin, le porte-parole LGBTT Randall Garrison (Esquimalt—Juan de Fuca), la chef adjointe Libby Davies (Vancouver-Est), le whip adjoint Philip Toone (Gaspésie—Îles-de-la-Madeleine) et Craig Scott (Toronto—Danforth), ainsi que le député libéral Scott Brison (Kings—Hants), ont participé à l'événement.

Official Opposition associate critic for LGBTT issues Dany Morin (Chicoutimi—Le Fjord) salutes the seven young people who participated in the first Rainbow Day on the Hill. This non-partisan event, organized by the NDP's LGBTT caucus in partnership with Jer's Vision, pairs LGBTT youth with LGBTT membres of Parliament to give them a taste of life on the Hill and inspire the leaders of tomorrow. The NDP's five LGBTT MPs - Morin, LGBTT lead critic Randall Garrison (Esquimalt—Juan de Fuca), deputy party leader Libby Davies (Vancouver East), deputy whip Philip Toone (Gaspésie—Îles-de-la-Madeleine), and Craig Scott (Toronto—Danforth) all took part, as did Liberal MP Scott Brison (Kings—Hants).
