After facing unimaginable horror in the pit of hell, Dean miraculously finds himself alive and well again. This shock is quickly met with another when Dean finds out that his resurrection was the work of an angel named Castiel who explains that he has an important destiny. Dean finds that much about Sam, his brother, has changed in his absence. Sam has become secretive, obsessive, and has gotten close to a demon named Ruby. Dean will find that he has woken up from one nightmare and into another when he realizes that his destiny may be to face Sam, his only brother, in a fight to the death. Between heaven and hell, between salvation and damnation, are the destinies of two brothers whose actions will decide the fate the world.

I've really been into Supernatural lately so I felt compelled to do another trailer. Smallville just hasn't held my interest very much in a long time. I just feel tired with the show and it's hard to put so much time into editing videos for something that you're tired with. I still love what Smallville used to be so I'm sure I'll come back to making another trailer for it eventually. But right now Supernatural's quality is way above Smallville. Supernatural really pays close attention to continuity which something Smallville hasn't done much of in years. There were things set up at the very beginning of Supernatural that are only now being paid off. Every season offers something new and fresh. There are continually escalated stakes and twists and turns in the plot. The show never gets stuck in repetitiveness and reinvents itself every season. It offers a unique blend of humor, drama, horror, and action. The lead actors have more on screen charisma than just about any other shows leads that I can think of. Anyone who hasn't seen it yet should definitely check it out.

Most of the inspiration for this trailer obviously came from the trailer for Star Trek. I really though that trailer did a good job at giving the film a feeling of scope and size. It seemed epic. Since the stakes in the fourth season of Supernatural were at an all time high I wanted to choose music that would compliment that. I would have liked to have included Bobby and Ruby more than I did but there just wasn't enough time. There was too much to cover in season 4's narrative to make much time for some of the supporting characters. Also I would have liked to have shown a more sympathetic side to Sam than I did but again there wasn't enough time. I think I managed to show that well enough though. I will let everyone else though be the ultimate judge. Hope you all enjoy.
