"Alternating Current" is a three part audiovisual interview of Rachel Margetts in conversation with writer and translator Quentin S Crisp. This is a 3 part series of audio interviews. In these interviews we discuss the state of the human identity in the light of the rapidly shifting political map of 2016. During the interview, Quentin uses the analogy of ‘alternating current’ to describe human identity, in which ‘the gaps in the frequency allow for possibilities'. This idea of the human identity as occupying both a negative and positive space is explored further in this piece.
