Interview with Producers Aly Jetha & Shabnam Rezaei on Vancouver Shaw TV's "Urban Rush" program with Fiona Forbes and Michael Eckford.
In this interview, the founders of Big Bad Boo studios discuss the history of Mixed Nutz, and talk about Babak & Friends.

Aly Jetha and Shabnam Rezaei talk about the cultural advisers for Mixed Nutz from Iran, Korea, Cuba and India and their role in creating an educational curriculum and culturally rich show for children that is both multicultural and fun.

Fiona Forbes and Michael Eckford ask about the animation process for Mixed Nutz and Big Bad Boo studios. Shabnam talks about the "food episode" (music by Randy Rogel) and how multiculturalism is an important element of every day life for kids around the world. Aly Jetha talks about animating in Vancouver, their studios and oznoz.com, the new multicultural platform for distributing children's content in various languages and cultures.

Mixed Nutz airs on ch116 on shaw TV every Sunday at 4 pm.

Mixed Nutz Persian Adventure DVD was just released on www.oznoz.com in Persian and English featuring a song from Abjeez and starring Maz Jobrani in three roles - as the Pahlavon, the Bazaari and the Painter who takes Babak, Saman and Sousanne on a Journey of a lifetime to Iran, though Ali Qapu, Shiraz, Isfahan, Shomal and many other beautiful places all over Iran.

Big Bad Boo animation studios has offices in Vancouver and New York. Mixed Nutz airs on PBS. Big Bad Boo is currently producing a new series called 1001 Nights.
