Caution. Graphic content of hunting footage. Do not watch if you find shooting animals objectionable. Shooting CA ground squirrels that had been digging up my property including the house foundation. I am shooting to get rid of them as pests, not for sport, so I will take shots even if they are not going to put them down "cleanly". Gun is a PCP airgun. The .22 Marauder from Crosman / Benjamin. This gun has a 20 fpe, and I find it pretty standard that CA ground squirrels will still spasm even on head shots (unlike rabbits or gophers, which drops quickly with the same gun). If I taped the "death dance", I usually try to include those as well.
