House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) believes Republicans have succumbed to President Obama's continued pressure to keep student loan interest at the current rate of 3.4%. Pelosi told reporters Friday, "On the floor of this House, at this time, on this day, the Republicans have folded because the President made the issue too hot to handle."
