People Come Together to Make Noise!
The New York Megaphonica is the brainchild of musician and conductor Avi Wisnia (myspace.com/aviwisniapresents). Over the course of two 20 minute performances in Union Square, NYC as part of the Make Music New York annual celebration of the summer solstice, the NY Megaphonica blew minds and started a revolution.

"The sound of a megaphone usually means one of two things: either the cops have the place surrounded, or naive college kids think that chanting really loudly will somehow end war, global warming or the prohibition on weed. But today -- at noon and again at 12:40 p.m. in Union Square Park -- may be the first time megaphones are actually used for something fun."
