For more info: http://stealthdrums.com/ A video explaining/demoing my new electronic drum setup. Based on double 2Box Drumit Five modules with Roland SPD-30 as the center of the percussion section. None of the sounds in the video are stock 2Box sounds. The sounds were built from SD 2.0 and SD 2.0 expansion packs. All the drums, cymbals and percussion accessories are converted acoustic to electronic (A to E) using my own Stealth Drum and Cymbal conversion kits. My latest drum kit is one I have been developing with the 2Box Drumit Five modules as the brains of the kit. I have redesigned my cymbal conversions to work nicely with the D5 modules and now after about 6 months of testing I built the new set of Stealth cymbals (using Sabian XS as well as AA cymbals) as the final test series. I normally would suggest using a cheaper series of cymbals for the conversion ..... but hey, it's my kit and I'm just a sucker for that B20 Brass ... LOL
The Drumit Five module is an incredible open sound system. I have done a slight Non-invasive mod to both of my D5 modules .... opening the module and installing a SD card extender cable that allows me to mount my SDHC Card slot on the module exterior. With the card slot now accessible I have changed the stock card from 4GB to 32GB ... That gives me ample space to use new High Quality VST based sounds. Plus I now can use multiple memory cards for a virtually endless supply of new drum kits. This is a plug n play system with incredible sound quality and virtually no latency issues while playing. The best of both worlds, VST quality in a plug n play drum module.
