Melissa Simone is a 22 year-old doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at The New School for Social Research. She is a research assistant in a variety of areas ranging from the Rubin Gender and Health Lab, the Health Education Lab, and the Psychopathology Lab. Melissa works on both long-term self-initiated project, such as Project Weightless and Orthorexia: Health versus Obsessive Disorder; and on larger lab oriented projects. She hopes to apply her research and clinical training in the field of psychology to construct a new outlook on health and treatment across the country.
