The auto industry needs electrical and computer engineers in ever increasing numbers to deal with the amount of electronics in contemporary cars. These engineers deal with the electronics, controls, safety systems, infotainments systems, and vehicle-to-vehicle communication. Prof. Jim Freudenberg talks about how to get that training. He is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Director of the Master's Program in Automotive Engineering in the College of Engineering.
