The ColdCure Foot Wrap comes with three gel packs containing our XC RigiGel formula. The XC gel packs can be stored in the fridge or freezer before use of the ColdCure Foot Wrap. Prior to use, charge the gel packs in the freezer or fridge for at least one hour. To apply the wrap, undo the Velcro straps and the removable belt of the Foot Wrap and insert the gel pack into the mesh pocket of the wrap. The XC gel pack can be inserted with the white side facing the skin or away from the skin, since it's not side specific in use.

Place your foot in the wrap so that your heel is cupped, and your toes are sticking out the end. The bottom of your foot and the back of your heel should be touching the mesh pocket of the wrap.

With the gel pack inside, the gel pack goes up the back of your heel slightly, and this is normal. Secure the Velcro straps of the Foot Wrap and the removable belt, and adjust as needed for a comfortable fit.

The injured area should be rested during treatment.

Storing the XC gel packs in the fridge means that you don't need to take breaks in between treatments. The XC gel packs can be continuously swapped out as the cold diminishes, or every 20 minutes. If storing the XC gel packs in the freezer, do a 20 minute treatment and then take a 20 minute break and cycle treatments throughout the day.

The level of cold you experience will increase as the inflammation decreases. If ColdCure treatments become uncomfortable remove the wrap for a few minutes and then re-apply.
