The multplayer sucked and I couldn't get the eStore to work to upgrade my rocket launcher.

Most atmospheric "game" I've played. Its not for everyone though, only for grown ups who appreciates a great narrative and visuals.

If you've never played this, you're missing out on one of the best games of all time. No combat, just exploration and a true, deep, heartbreaking story. When I finished I was in shambles emotionally for the better part of a day (or two..). No game has haunted me like this. No really. I cried like a little bitch for a good while. This game will break your heart.

after playing this game once, i actually still re-watch the trailer every now and again when i remember about it, and the locations and sounds actually stir up chilling memories. when a one-hour-and-a-bit-long game can have that effect, the fact that the gameplay is non-existent just becomes unimportant because it makes gameplay in a world like this completely unnecessary.

"Dear Esther, I wish there were more things to do in this game than just walking".
