Tatanka wa mani yelo, the buffalo bull is coming. This song is played on a Native American Flute in Low D made by a good Ojibwa friend after sharing a vision with him. The buffalo are our closest connection to our ancestors. Once they covered the great plains in North America and its smaller brother the Wisent the plains of Europe. They gave us food, warmth and shelter for many generations. Now they need our help so many generations to come can also enjoy these majestic animals. Please also check out http://www.buffalofieldcampaign.org/ to see how you can help protect this animal. For Dutch visitors check out this site http://www.wisenten.nl/wisenten/home for the Wisent is also finally back in our small country.
