This is a basic tutorial going over how to manually configure an external public DNS (Domain Name Server) that will yeild higher performance and speed over that of your ISP's DNS.

By performing these changes you can enhance the speed of your internet browsing significantly. This is an extremely simply and easy process and well worth it. I've taken the time to write a nice little Batch script that will take care of everything you'll need as well as allow you to test a variety of DNS's.
