Ive been shooting with the new Canon 6D for a couple days now and I have to admit, I am pleasantly surprised, it is a wonderful camera. One of the features I am most excited about is the Wifi Connection of the 6D to my smartphone, in this case, an iPhone (but it will work with iPads, or Android devices as well). Canon quietly released the EOS Remote App onto the App store last week, so I couldn't resist to try it out as soon as the camera arrived. This video will also help if you have a 70D or any other Canon Camera you are trying to get set up on the EOS App.
I have to admit, I was a little frustrated getting it set up the first time and I made this video in hopes that it would help you get your Canon wifi connection going, especially with the Canon 6D.
In this tutorial training video, I will show you the easiest way to set it up your 6D's wifi with your iPhone, and then I will demonstrate some of the very cool and fun things you can do, including review, rate, email or delete images. I will also show you how you can preview the shot on your device, focus, change your exposure settings and take a picture remotely.
The Canon 6D Crash Course will take all month to prepare, but I am hard at work at it and expect it to be available first week of January. I have a TON of great little 6D videos coming, including head to head tests with many other full frame cameras. I sincerely hope this video helped! Best wishes! Michael The Mentor
