Every moment counts when it comes to identifying and tracking dangerous storms, such as tornadoes. The Center for Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere (CASA) is creating revolutionary weather-sensing networks to save lives and property by evaluating the lower atmosphere. UMass Amherst is the lead institution in this research partnership, supported by the National Science Foundation.
