With time being the essence for Pete we change our Thursday walk to Wednesday and use the limited time to do a bit of detecting on the flanks of Ingleborough Mountain which was home to the Vikings in the olde days. Apart from a rusty spanner we got a big zero. Pete headed home and I was drawn back to the Camp Field which came up trumps again and produced 12 coins and my hand pick which I had lost on an earlier visit. I have said this before but I think the site is cleaned out .. which is a pity because it is a beautiful place to detect and relax.
