Oh fuck these guys, they did it wrong and everyone knows what Hathcock did was a fact and not a myth, they used the wrong scope, and Hathcock was better than all US snipers at that time, better than this "Master" sniper that came up by far, and even he thought it was a lucky shot.

Why are they shooting at the rifle/scope that the marine was using? Shouldn't they have shot at a Vietnamese rife/scope?

Although I enjoyed watching this, it's not a myth, it happened, sure it's borderline impossible, but we have evidence that it is possible, the fact that it happened

They also didn't take into account the bullet... Military bullets are FMJ (full metal jackets), they don't deform the way modern hunting ammunition does... I'm not certain but I think that Carlos used a 30.06 not the .308win cartridge also. (someone decided I was trying to play god by suggesting that we move on and find another interesting Gun topic, so I'll just delete notifications, CARRY ON AND SORRY)

This myth would depend heavily on the type of scope being shot.
