Just making something meant to be used as an avatar / icon for getting more familiar with techniques and tricks that I majorly overlooked in the past.

This is only a sample of what somebody can do with only the most basic image editing tools, and I am not the best artist in the world. Heck, I've made changes to this after I finished this as I noticed a few errors that I did not catch among other things I could improve on while I was taking screenshots of my process, and you can compare what I mostly made on the video at this link to deviantART: http://fav.me/d57xwl0

Multiple sizes of this image as an avatar or icon of other sorts from 150x150 to 50 x 50 are also available for download here: http://fav.me/d57w4y0

If this impresses anyone, feel free check these out as they dwarf pretty much anything that I have ever made to this day:

Colossal Katamari: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/17...
Barn Owl: http://fav.me/d3a5em6
Mona Lisa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk2sPl...

My dA for curious eyes: http://pixmeister.deviantart.com/

Drawn with a mouse, and used a program named Snappy to take screenshots with every click. Screenshots were compiled into a video with VirtualDub.

Referenced used for shading purposes: http://fav.me/d4e7z5x

Music: Nuke Powder by MaelouX on Newgrounds http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste...

Trying to reference something without a grid made me a little nervous, and it made me frustrate myself when I notice that Fluttershy's proportions were weird.

I also don't take requests. I take commissions though... after I make one of these for Rainbow Dash.
