In this video, we explain a use case for pdfDebug. We have created a short "Hello World" sample, but we notice that some of the content that we are adding in our code, isn't added to our page. Is this a bug in iText or is it a bug in our code?

The default debugger in Eclipse shows us that we are indeed creating the missing content as a String-value, but there is no way to check whether or not this content is also being added to the PdfDocument object.

That's why we install pdfDebug: pdfDebug allows us to look inside of the PDF we are creating. By examining the PDF syntax that is being generated, we discover a bug in our code. After fixing this bug, the content shows up at the appropriate place in our PDF document.
