Have you ever had the experience of going out, then feeling extremely sick? What if that happened during your trip in Japan? In this lesson of Waku Waku Japanese, Erin introduces how to tell a person how you are sick, and ask for help in Japanese.

My head hurts- Atama ga itai desu
あたまがいたいです/頭が痛いです

My stomach hurts- Onaka ga itai desu
おなかがいたいです/お腹が痛いです

I feel like vomiting- Hakisoudesu/ Kimochi warui desu
はきそうです/吐きそうです
きもちわるいです/気持ち悪いです

Where is the hospital?- Byouin wa doko desuka?
びょういんはどこですか/病院はどこですか

Where is the pharmacy (drug store)?- Yakkyoku wa doko desuka?
やっきょくはどこですか/薬局はどこですか

Please call me an ambulance- Kyuukyuusha wo yonde kudasai
きゅうきゅうしゃをよんでください/救急車を呼んで下さい

Please hail a cab- Takushii wo yonde kudasai
タクシーをよんでください/タクシーを呼んで下さい

But it's always good to stay home when you're feeling a little bit under the weather. Take care of yourself! Okarada ni kiwotsukete kudasai!
