18th June 2011:
It was the day before father's day, I went to north wales with my father for the frolic on the little railway which inspired the late Wilbert Awdry to write his stories about it.

After we arrived at Tywyn Wharf station, we booked in and went to look inside the muesum. Later I came to a glimpse of the new exhibition of Wilbert Awdry's centenary, with lots of wonderful rare pictures and lots of stuff.

Afterwards, we took a train down the line with Peter Sam (Edward Thomas No. 4), and had a lovely trip.

On our way back, we went for a little walk of Dolgoch Falls to have a look around at the waterfalls, caves and a viaduct. Soon we went back to the main station and headed off for home.
