Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth was the Grand Prize Winner in a video contest sponsored by the National Engineers' Week Foundation (http://www.eweek.org/) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (http://www.asce.org/). Students were invited to make a two-minute video that shows why their engineering school is the best at making a difference through volunteer projects.
The top three of 12 entries were chosen by ASCE EWeek planning staff. Then, 7th and 8th grade students -- who were finalists at the National Engineers' Week Future City Competition (http://www.futurecity.org/) -- voted for their favorite out of the top three entries.
Thanks to all the Dartmouth students who worked on this video: Bonnie Hennessee '08; Betsy Dain-Owens '10; Calvin Krishen MEM'08; Tao Mao, Ph.D. candidate; Evan Lipinski, Dual Degree; Grayson Zulauf '12
