Like all songs from the album Discovery, the music video for "Voyager" is a scene from the film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, which features no dialogue, but rather songs from Discovery throughout the whole film.

That bassline is amongst the best I've heard in any song ever. Odd as it may sound, this song makes me feel like I'm exploring the universe in a small boat.

this song gives off an oddly, nostalgic feeling. which is weird because i haven't heard this until recently.anyone else feel that?

andy wharry I get the same feeling when I listen to vaporwave and future funk music, especially the latter because it's heavily influenced by French house. My personal favorite is when these artists named Future Girlfriend and Android Apartment took a beautiful Japanese ballad/R&B song and turned it into magic.

Same here. I've heard some of Daft Punk's music without knowing the name of their group up until around high school and, even then, I only listened to this track recently. It's oddly comforting how a song I never heard before makes me feel so nostalgic for it. It doesn't make sense but the moment this track started up, I was sucked in with a feeling of "hey, I've heard this somewhere before and it's great to be back."

In my humble opinion, I feel like this is one of their best but most underrated songs. One More Time, Around the World, Get Lucky, and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger are probably their most famous, but I think this one is a gem, hands down. Evocative, funky, deep, and timeless. I really wish this song would have been mixed on the Alive 2007 album.

Technically it was. If you listen to their Alive remix Rappel/Human After All/Together/One More Time it has this song's rhythm in it. You just can't hear cause it's too quiet. I think it's also in Too long/Steam Machine or something like that idk

The song and setting is so cheery yet the Crecendolls literally have a dead body in the trunk....

Yeah I'm wondering why he died (and how too). Earlier when he crashed onto Earth he'd be dead then, amazing he survived that. Then he gets shot in the arm....and they prevent his blood loss, so he should be fine. I guess just plot? Or maybe they had nanomachines in those lasers shrug

Maybe it wants to show that life must go on and it's beautiful. Why mourn those who can't come back when you can look ahead? Live on!
