The proliferation of more and more roller coaster rides at this and almost every other amusement park has certainly made attending these places less and less fun for me. I don't mind them, but we're now in a race to have the biggest, tallest, fastest, deadliest, etc., etc., etc. First attended Six Flags Over Mid-American in the summer of 1971 and recently lived in Valencia, Calif. (the home of Six Flags Magic Mountain). My favorite from SFMA was the Mississippi Adventure and Injun' Joe's Cave rides. Probably pretty boring to most people, but I like them.

Come on man show the Sky-Way with on ride footage. Am i supposed to believe all the footage was destroyed after July 26,1978 cause that's all people remember about it.

6 Flags. st. Louis will have 50 seasons in 2021 or 2022 and it would be cool if 6 Flags had their employees wear the uniforms from 1971 and possibly honor the employees, my grandma worked there when it first opened and she was one of the 1st people to ride the parachute ride when it first opened up in st. Louis. it's a fun ride and would be cool if they put in some of the old rides, like the skyway and the parachutes again.

What theatre is that on the bottom left side of the screen at 0:08 secs?
Oh i have another question. Why did the park shut down and quit running the Hannabarrels/ Powderkegs? Hope i'm not bugging you.

They still had the airplane ride when I was a kid in the early 90's and I also remember riding the monster, but when I rode it, had yellow seats.
