Heartbeat Explained | Lub dub | Cardiac cycle | Human Anatomy and Physiology video 3D | elearnin

The valves of the chambers of the heart are made up of the muscles. This video depicts the rhythmic contractions and relaxations of the heart which constitute the heart beat. The heart continues to beat every moment in a person's life. Place your heart on the left side of your chest and you can feel your heartbeat. Doctors use stethoscope to feel your heartbeat. It is a device used to amplify the sound of your heart. It consists of a chest piece that carries a sensitive diaphragm, two ear pieces and a tube joining them. By listening to the stethoscope, the condition of the heart can be monitored by the doctor. Each heartbeat generates one pulse in the arteries and the pulse rate per minute gives the rate of the heart beat. The heart circulates the blood through which various substances are circulated throughout the body. This is possible due to the maintenance of the heart's rhythmic beating.
