Welcome to 3 on Sunday where once a week I will release a video covering the top 3 gaming stories that mattered to me.

Final Fantasy X will be re-mastered for the playstation Vita and playstation 3. Originally the game was thought to be a "remake" but inquiring journalists were finally answered by a square-enix representative that the game will be receiving a hi-definition upgrade and not a remake. It's yet to be seen whether there will be a significant difference in the graphics of this playstation 2 era rpg. There is currently no known release date for its release.

Microsoft and sony have confirmed they will not release information on a new console for E3 2012. Fans waiting to hear about the Playstation 4 and Xbox 720 will have to wait until 2013. Currently the companies are focusing on their current consoles and game line up. Until then, Sony fans will have to play the Playstation Vita, Microsoft fans will have to play Halo 4 and Fable to hold them over.

Diablo 3, the third installment in Blizzards dark-action role playing will finally be released on May 15th. Development began in 2001 and has gone through 3 revisions. It's one of the most anticipated games for 2012. Unfortunately, Blizzard has announced PvP will patched into the game and not available from the start.
