To those speculating on what language (if any) Demis Roussos is singing in, while I don't speak or understand any Arabic, I have read comments by native Arabic speakers about this song, and they say it's a kind of pseudo-Arabic, or Arabic-based vocalese. It contains some real Arabic words mixed meaninglessly with mere Arabic-like sounds. So, it's neither real Arabic nor "The Four Horsemen" played backwards (we'd have noticed if the leading horse were green rather than white... ;-) Demis Roussos was born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, as a member of the ethnic Greek minority there, and he grew up bilingual in Greek and Arabic. So, he could have sung in real Egyptian Arabic if he wished, but for some reason he chose to use this kind of vocalese instead.

Pues vaya sorpresa, tengo que decir que has dado información de primera, era una gran duda para mi el significado de las palabras en la canción. Un saludo desde Colombia, donde quiera que estés.

@margamaron1 It does sound very much like Demis Roussos but i don't think it is arabic although it sounds like it... What l think it is, is the vocal part of D. Roussos on THE FOUR HORSEMEN from the APHRODITE'S CHILD album 666... but played backwards... you know... ''and when the laaaamb opened the first seeeeal....'' etc. I don't really know, i could be wrong... Any ideas ?

Love the song and the movie/movies (I like all the editions of Blade Runner) and I hope that sequel/prequel they were talking about gets made.

it plays throughout the movie in bits and piece, but the best part can be heard in the dressing room with the "skin job" with the snake, as she gets in the shower. In the 90's this was part of the rave scene but I cant seem to find it anywhere (in the mixed song).
