Exactly. Big companies should be able to exploit their workers, without the government interfering.

When I see things like this, it always makes me ponder: are those people just plain evil or do they truly believe the bullshit they're spreading? Yeah, sure, indulge on your billions of billions of dolars for now. Fuck the environment and future generations.

Thought experiment: Every time he mentions energy, replace that word with "slaves". See how horrible that makes him? But, those are the same arguments used to defend slavery. "We can't prosper without it" "This country is built on it" "You are attacking and bullying us" Just because something has been done for a long time, doesn't make it best. How can you say that research into greener, renewable energy is somehow evil? Easy, when you have money tied up in current energy sources. I don't say everyone should go out and buy an electric car because oil companies are evil. I just imagine the future where we get all our energy straight from the sun, like in sci-fi.

If I wanted the Earth to fail I would create videos like this to indoctrinate the simple-minded who accept anything for fact.  I would properly use rhetoric and tone to convince the citizens of Earth to turn against prove logic and support the manipulative message of the oil lobbyists.  If I wanted the Earth to fail I would convince the world to sit back and do nothing, because that's all that is required to let the destruction unfold.

Wait a minute, Thomas Edison and Steve Jobs were not inventors. They basically bought patents and used other people's inventions.

if i wanted my family to starve, i would never go grocery shopping, insisting that there was an unlimited supply of food in the fridge.  if i wanted our national energy supply to fail, i would never invest in alternate energy, insisting that there was an unlimited supply of conventional fuel in the ground.

If I wanted America to fail, I'd let school boys use the girls' bathroom in the name of "fairness" and "diversity" and then I would denigrate and besmirch parents that are outraged by it. I'd call those parents "homophobic". If I wanted America to fail, I would demonize law-abiding gun owners. I'd attempt to take their weapons from them in the interest of "stopping gun violence", all the while, knowing full well that lawless thugs will never give up their guns.
