NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (RCA Victor 8451) Out of Los Angeles, this 1964 release written by David Gates is the second of two issued by Miss Stacey on the RCA Victor label. On this single the label shows that Miss Stacey has added another 'N' to her first name. If it was for good luck in hopes for a hit, it didn't work, as this disc went by unoticed. This fine, atmospheric, Phil Spector-styled David Gates arranged effort has L.A.'s 'Wrecking Crew' and The Blossoms in fine form. While not a hit when originally released, it has however, grown in popularity and stature over the years among the Northern Soul crowd and is now quite collectable.
This vocalist also recorded as GWENN RICHARD for the Unical label in April 1963 entitled, 'My Silent Love'.
