The Turkish Get-Up single handedly helped me recover from terrible shoulder pain from traditional weight training. After a month of turkish-get-ups I was converted into a Kettlebell enthusiast.

The Turkish Get-Up is a foundational exercise in the Russian Kettlebell System requiring core strength and shoulder stabilization throughout the movement as well as strength, flexibility, coordination and mental focus. The Turkish Get-Up is used by physical therapists and fitness professionals for post- shoulder surgery rehab and to fix pain in the shoulders.
