at IAPEN 1st Annual Meeting and Conference on Malnutrition, 4th August, 2012.
From 2012 to 2015, IAPEN formed a strong team of experts throughout India and involved many people in Lifelong Learning and recently we intensified our efforts by conducting press meeting at Jalandhar, Punjab.
The Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism aims to improve the nutritional care of people at risk of malnutrition, whether in hospitals or in the community and to develop the basic and advanced clinical research in India and organize the consensus statements about clinical care and care quality control.
We strongly believe that every "Nutrition Support Clinician" and dietitians should participate in lifelong learning to solve all nutrition/clinical nutrition/malnutrition related problems present in India.
The IAPEN Lifelong Learning Initiative provides stimulating, congenial, and varied opportunities designed specifically for lifelong learners in advanced clinical nutrition research.
In order to promote life long learning in basic and advanced clinical nutrition and to facilitate the academic pursuits of more number of doctors, dieticians and others from the educational institutions, hospitals and health care settings, The Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (IAPEN) announces certification programme in India.
The IAPEN Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (ICNSC) credential identifies you as a qualified nutrition support provider. It is the most widely accepted, visible nutrition support certification with recognition in India.
